My name is Connor Leggett, and I am a guitarist who plays, composes and teaches in the West Texas area. I enjoy playing guitar as a soloist and in groups, as well as teaching guitar and composing in a variety of styles and genres. A native of Odessa, Texas, I have been playing guitar since the age of seven. After graduating from Midland Classical Academy, I obtained a Bachelor’s degree of Music Education from Texas Tech University. I had the opportunity to study with guitarist, teacher and author David Brandon before joining his studio at Texas Tech. In addition, I have been able to study with Los Romeros Quartet for the past decade during their annual institute in Oklahoma City.

My previous teaching experience includes instruction in Ector County Public Schools and at Odessa College. I currently am an instructor at the West Texas Music Academy.
